A qualified teacher with a first-class English and French degree from the University of Exeter, Carys has experience of both face-to-face and online tutoring across a range of subjects. With three years of Prep School teaching experience, she has supported children through 11+ and 13+ entrance exams and scholarship papers, including Alleyn’s, St Paul’s and St Mary’s, Ascott. A keen linguist and lover of all things literature, Carys is also able to tutor in English and French to A-Level.

Carys believes firmly in the power of tutoring to build a child’s confidence, as well as providing them with the knowledge and exam skills needed to reach their full potential. She adapts her material depending on each individual’s strengths and areas for improvement in order to maximise the opportunity for learning in each session.
