    Calum studied English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford, specialising in Jacobean court entertainment and film adaptations of Shakespeare. He went on to achieve a distinction in an MA in Film and Television at the University of Bristol, where he specialised in short fiction directing and cinematography. At school, Calum loved the humanities, studying English Literature, History, and Geography at A-Level. Now an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker, Calum has a passion for literature and storytelling in all of its forms. He spent four years teaching film and filmmaking at Eton College, and has written articles on a number of topics for a range of outlets including the New Statesman.

    Every student has different needs, and Calum is keen to have an open dialogue to ensure that sessions are tailored towards individuals’ goals. He believes that wider subject knowledge and good exam technique can be developed in tandem, keeping sessions enjoyable while not losing focus on all-important grades.
