Aoife is a creative, engaging and supportive tutor. She is patient and has a genuine passion for supporting young people to attain and progress in their studies and personal development.
Aoife has an Msc in International Development, and graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a BA in Political Science. She currently works as a Youth Caseworker in the charity sector. She has worked with newly arrived young people, supporting them with ESOL and learning through theatre and arts. Aoife has delivered vocational training on topics such as safeguarding, trauma informed practice and ESOL.
She holds a TEFL qualification and spent three years living in Istanbul Turkey. During this time she worked as an English teacher in an International school, progressing to homeroom teacher. She privately taught students of all ages in English and social studies, and supported students with university applications.
Aoife also holds grade four LAMDA and enjoys comedy, theatre and running. Aoife combines her personal, professional and academic experience to create innovative tutoring sessions. She creates an inclusive and respectful environment where students can develop enthusiasm, curiosity and confidence.
