Alessandro is a skilled and enthusiastic individual with more than fifteen years of experience supporting students outside the classroom to meet academic challenges and prepare for examinations. He holds an MSt in Modern Languages with English from Oxford and a PhD in Comparative Literature from Edinburgh. At Edinburgh, he undertook and published research in English, French, and Italian and tutored undergraduate and postgraduate students in literature and language for more than three years, preparing and teaching a variety of courses of different sizes and levels and designing course syllabuses for each level.
Since then, Alessandro has been tutoring privately in English, French, and Italian language and literature, preparing students for assessment with the main 11+, 13+, GCSE, and A Level examination boards. He also has expert knowledge of the admission process at both Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities, and can offer advice on the different sections of undergraduate and postgraduate applications in the Humanities.
