Shirley is a London trained, very experienced primary school teacher (KS1 & KS2) with B Ed (Hons) and LLB (Hons) degrees. She has QTS and has taught in a range of settings including the UK, MOD and International schools.
Shirley has taught the National Curriculum in its various forms to all age groups. She is experienced in assessing pupils’ academic needs, developing individual learning programmes and preparing pupils for school entrance examinations and tests. As part of her ongoing professional development Shirley undertakes regular training to keep her practice current. She has been a SENCo and has supported numerous pupils through targeted interventions. Shirley has a TEFL qualification and has tutored EAL pupils. In one of her recent teaching posts, Shirley also prepared students for 11+ to many top private schools.
