Omri is an engaging and friendly tutor who finds teaching immensely rewarding. He believes that the key to effective tutoring is assessing the individual needs of each student and tailoring his teaching accordingly. His style emphasises mastery of the material and interest in the subject over rote learning and memorisation. Omri graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First in Maths, and is now studying for a PhD at UCL, specialising in arithmetic geometry. At school he achieved five A*s at A level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Latin, as well as 11 A*s at GCSE. This strong academic background ensures that he has a deep understanding of the material which he can pass on to his students through illuminating problems and examples.
“My son got a scholarship (we found out today), so we are very grateful for all Emmanuel did. My son really enjoyed the tutorials; they gave him confidence and polished his exam technique.”
Tom Fenton is a marvellous tutor, striking a perfect balance of erudition, encouragement, judicious pressure, kindness and humour. His work with my daughter produced stellar results in the form of three scholarships; I can’t recommend him too highly.
