In Oliver’s own words, “I am an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing individual. I have excellent communication skills, speaking perfect English and Spanish, and reasonable French. I enjoy becoming personally involved with my work and derive tremendous satisfaction in ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard.”
Oliver began tutoring in English Literature after completing his first year at University College London. After graduating, he worked for a year in an academic support centre in Valencia, Spain (Un Ratito Mas), teaching English and also administrating the English Department. Since then he has tutored extensively in London and Moscow, as well as completing short placements abroad He has prepared students for English, History and Spanish GCSE and A-Level examinations, and many others for 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations to top British schools.
His approach to tutoring is to equip students with the tools that will allow them to have an academic experience that is both fruitful and enjoyable. He encourage sdiscipline, self-belief and a strong moral code, and aims to give his students a level of confidence and knowledge that will serve them in later life.
