GR is an experienced political risk consultant and Middle East and North Africa expert. She spent a decade working for leading political risk firms advising corporates and non-governmental organisations on risks faced in the MENA region. She has significant management, mentoring and coaching experience. GR is now a freelance consultant in the field of political risk. She is also a keen tutor of politics, sociology, international relations and history. She has particular experience teaching A and AS level politics (AQA and Edexcel).
GR has an undergraduate degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in the Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics. Before going to university she attended the United World College of the Atlantic on a full scholarship and obtained 41 points for her International Baccalaureate. GR speaks Swedish, Kurdish in addition to basic Farsi and French. In her spare time she enjoys reading, exercise and learning about alternative health.
