Daisy is a warm, friendly and approachable tutor currently studying for her Masters degree in Philosophy at King’s College, London. Daisy has a rich experience with teaching children, both privately and within the school environment. After graduating from King’s in 2015 with her Bachelor’s degree in History, Daisy moved to Bangkok where she taught English as a second language. She has experience in teaching English to ages 3-14, and has also tutored guitar privately for several years. Daisy has a love for learning and this is reflected in her approach to teaching; a shared excitement for learning ensures that her students are engaged and enthusiastic to learn, too.
Currently focussing her studies on the Philosophy of religion, Daisy is confident in teaching Philosophy as well as History, Religious Studies, English Literature, English Language and Classics at advanced level. She also enjoys teaching mathematics and science, always ensuring her approach is fun, memorable, and at a pace that will suit her students. Daisy is a keen musician and songwriter, and spends much of her spare time writing music and performing in and around Greater London. She enjoys writing, keeping a travel blog for the past several years whilst she has worked abroad, and she greatly enjoys drawing, painting, and simply making things with whatever she can find! Her creative nature greatly influences her teaching method, and Daisy feels this is pivotal in her endeavours of not only being a dedicated tutor, but also ensuring both the success and the happiness of her students.
