Charlotte is a dedicated, enthusiastic and creative tutor with two years’ teaching experience.
She has taught privately from 11+ to A Level, as well as running English GCSE classes in schools and coordinating practical music skills workshops. In the past two years she has also supported many successful applications to competitive London secondary schools and top level universities.
Charlotte studied English Literature and Language at Oxford, graduating in 2015 with a 2.1. She achieved 2 A*s and an A at A Level, 5 As at AS Level and 11 A*s and an A at GCSE.
The main barrier to academic success is lack of confidence; both in one’s ability and in having the confidence to ask for the help you need. Charlotte’s teaching method centres the students’ interests and passions to ensure the subject becomes relevant and enjoyable. She aims to teach full-time in the future and really enjoy the possibilities afforded by tuition – it is unparalleled in enabling students to tackle challenges and achieve potential. She currently works in music alongside tutoring, and will be starting a law conversion course this October.
She has a wide-ranging knowledge of different exam boards and syllabi, and her specialisations are 11+ and 13+ (all subjects) GCSE English and History, and A Level English Literature.
In her spare time Charlotte reads voraciously, organises electronic music events and is trying to get better at fixing her bike.
