Catherine is an inspiring, warm gentle tutor currently teaching Languages at Dulwich College.
Catherine is a Modern Languages graduate from the University of Paris with a Master’s degree from the Institute Charles V, Paris.
During her career she has taught French and English (Key Stage 3, 4 and 5), Spanish (Key Stage 3 and 4) and German (foundation level). She has also worked in various fields such as in-Company professional training, Special Needs Tutoring (KS 2,3 and 4), preparation for Common Entrance and, more recently, preparation for GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and Cambridge entrance examinations at Dulwich College.
In her own words: ‘I enjoy the challenges brought on by the different needs and expectations of my tutees and I believe in a flexible, positive and caring approach; the effort involved in language learning leads to confidence and enriches one’s life.’
“My son got a scholarship (we found out today), so we are very grateful for all Emmanuel did. My son really enjoyed the tutorials; they gave him confidence and polished his exam technique.”
Tom Fenton is a marvellous tutor, striking a perfect balance of erudition, encouragement, judicious pressure, kindness and humour. His work with my daughter produced stellar results in the form of three scholarships; I can’t recommend him too highly.
