Cassandra is a finance student at Cass Business School, and has previously worked at a number of multinational banking and financial institutions. She has been tutoring students aged 8-25 since 2012, focusing on IB/ A Level/ GCSE Mathematics, university accounting, financial mathematics, statistics, and general tuition for younger students. Since 2012, Cassandra has tutored dozens of students for 300+ hours, in subjects ranging from general tuition in mathematics, science and English for 7+; GCSE, A Level and IB mathematics; to university accounting and statistics.
Cassandra assists students to grasp concepts in mathematics, accounting, finance and statistics by focusing on practical examples in real life and the daily applications of abstract concepts. She focuses on the individual styles of learning and needs of every tutee to ensure thorough understanding of abstract concepts, and discourages the pure memorisation of rules.
Cassandra is also bilingual in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
